For clients

Your receipt is your food log. Just snap it.

No food diary. Photograph your grocery or restaurant receipt and every item gets a plain word — and a better version if there is one. Your coach sees the page you do.

How it works

One photo. Four words. One swap.

  1. Snap

Photograph the receipt when you shop or eat out. That’s the whole habit.

  2. See

Every item gets one word — good, free, fine, or swap — and a one-line why.

  3. Say

Log what you ate from any receipt, on the day you ate it. “None of it” is a real answer.

  4. Get one swap

One better version of something you bought, with your coach’s note on it. Save it, or say it’s not useful.

Good and free are wins. Fine is fine. Only swap asks for a change — and it names one.

The idea

You’re going to eat it. Let’s find the better version.

CalorieSmart doesn’t judge whether a food is healthy. It asks one question: is this the best version of the thing you were buying anyway — and if not, what is?

  • No diary

You don’t type in meals or remember Tuesday. The receipt wrote it down, and every food you’ve bought is one tap away.

  • No lecture

Three of the four words mean “fine.” The fourth, Swap, comes with a specific better version of the same thing — not a reason to feel bad.

  • No catching you out

Buying it isn’t eating it. Only what you log counts toward your day — and a blank day is never read as a day you ate nothing.

Fair questions

The ones worth asking.

How do I get in?

Your coach sends you a link — open it, pick a password, and you’re in. There’s no other way to sign up as a client, so if you haven’t got it yet, ask your coach. No coach yet? Put your name down — we pair people with coaches in small groups.

Who can see my receipts?

You, and your coach. That’s the list. You upload the receipt yourself — nothing is pulled from your bank, your email, or a store account. Your coach sees your items and what you logged; no other coach can. And you can ask for everything to be deleted, any time.

Do I need to install an app?

No. It runs in your phone’s browser. Tap Grocery or Restaurant, take the photo, done.

Does it think I ate everything I bought?

No. The receipt is the cart, not the plate. What you ate you log yourself, and only that counts toward your day.

What if I keep buying the Swap item?

Then that’s the next thing you and your coach work on. A Swap is an offer, not a rule you broke.

What if it reads a line wrong?

Lines it can’t read are marked unconfirmed and left out of every total. Type what it was and it’s graded like the rest.

Does it cost me anything?

No. Your coach’s account covers you — there is nothing for you to pay, ever.

Same foods. Better versions.

Your next receipt is the first one.

If your coach has sent your link, you’re one photo away. If you don’t have a coach on CalorieSmart yet, show them the page written for them.
